Starting your DTF journey may seem like a difficult task but, in our opinion, it will become the easiest way to improve your printing abilities.
Let’s go with the most common question: WHAT IS A GANG SHEET?
A DTF gang sheet is what we call a single piece of transfer paper in which we try to fit multiple designs in one go. Its sizes vary from 24 inches up to 100, 300 inches. This allows you to print all of your different designs or the same logo various times without having to use another file. These will also be cheaper for you rather than having to print individual transfers by size.
Now, ‘HOW CAN I MAKE MY OWN DTF GANG SHEET?’, you may ask yourself. Do not stress about it! Although there are many ways and tools to do this, there’s a very simple option to make your file. We love using Canva! It has made everything easier for us when we first started working with DTF and it continues to be an excellent and efficient platform for our clients.
Here are the simple steps to create your own DTF gang sheet on Canva:

Log in with your account. (FYI: You don’t need to have a Canva Pro account to be able to use this feature.)

Create a new design and select the sizes you will use for your sheet. Pro tip: remember to check our available Gang Sheet sizes to match them to your design!
- Add all of the logos/designs you need on that file. Everything you add will be printed EXACTLY as how you put it and the measurements will be the ones you choose.
- Save the files as .png and don’t forget to click on ‘transparent’ for a better quality on your designs.
- And done! You have now a DTF Gang Sheet file ready.
After creating your file, it’s time to upload it on www.printprodtf.com. This is the next step for your custom apparel journey. You will be selecting the same size of Gang Sheet you set up on Canva, this way your file will match the printed sheet. You will then upload the .PNG file and select as many items as you want. Once you place your order, you will receive it within 48 hours and that’s it!
Remember this is just one of many options you have to create your Gang Sheet files. DTF is fun because it allows you to have all the creative freedom you never thought you had! Use it and play with it. Vary design sizes, sheet sizes, and accommodate them differently on your items of clothing. You will see options are endless with DTF!
