How to print with DTF! Learn the process to use your transfers.

It’s never too late to start working with DTF and the process is not as complicated as some people believe. Especially after having your transfers already printed by us!

That will be your first step into the new era of custom apparel: getting your transfers printed by a reliable source, and that of course, will be us. At PrintPro DTF, our main goal is to provide our customers with high-quality products, easy to use and with the best turn-around time in the area. Other printers will give you an estimated time for your deliveries, but we can guarantee to top that! You will notice it’s important to get a trustworthy print supplier once you start getting into the world of DTF. Each project tends to take its own time to be ready but DTF facilitates a fast process, which will allow you to finish more orders in less time. That means that the first part can be done in less than 48 hours.

After getting your DTF transfers, it’s time to cut, prepare, press and print. Cut the prints you received while being careful of not crossing the outlines of your artwork. You don’t want to mess up at this point! Also, remember to leave a free border around the edges to give you more liberty to accommodate the design as you want it printed. Place the part with adhesive over your garment and put it under your heat press. Apply pressure over 10-15 seconds and peel the film. Wait for a few seconds, place the film over the already printed design, and press again for 5 more seconds.

You will check for any cracks or cuts (but we bet you won’t find one with our transfers!). If you happen to come across one, repeat the process. Be careful not to overheat your print to avoid mistakes.

And that’s about it! Let it cool for a few minutes and stretch it to see if it resists. It must. If you have any more questions, remember that A) we’re here to help, and B) trust the process. You’ve got to be patient and accept that making some mistakes leads to perfection. Have fun! It’s time to customize everything in your way.
